In the framework of the project “Fostering international partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the energy and environment sectors” (FIPEE), on 15th September 2021 UNIDO ITPO Italy organized a matchmaking meeting between the Italian company Bausano & Figli S.p.A. and the Kenyan company Danco Plastics.

During the meeting — attended by UNIDO ITPO Italy Investment Promotion Expert and Responsabile for Kenya Ms. Ester Temperato; UNIDO ITPO Italy new Expert in Energy and Environment for Kenya, Ms. Linda Faith Okaalet; Mr. Andrea Arbarelli, Africa Export Manager of Bausano & Figli S.p.A.; and Mr. Suraj Dhanan, Director of Danco Plastics — UNIDO ITPO Italy met with the Italian company and was able to understand what it was looking for in Kenya, so as to identify potential counterparts in the country to match their needs in the field of energy and environment.

As a result, the Italian company will now select potential counterparts identified by UNIDO ITPO Italy, while the Kenyan company will send further requests to the Italian company through the support of follow-up activities by UNIDO ITPO Italy.
