Within the framework of the FIPEE project, on 7 December 2021 UNIDO ITPO Italy facilitated the organization of meetings with two companies — Brixham Traders LTD and Eemaxx Engineering — at the Embassy of Kenya in Rome, notably at the presence of Her Excellency the Ambassador of Kenya to Italy, Ms. Jackline Yonga.

The first meeting was aimed at introducing Brixham Traders LTD —  represented by its two Directors Ms. Annalisa Duci and Mr. Paolo Blanchietti — a company recently established in Kenya and operating in the sector of renewable energy with a focus on solar and energy efficiency, and now also aiming at implementing training and capacity-building activities in the field for interested local people.

As a follow-up to the meetings held at Ecomondo 2021 also facilitated by UNIDO ITPO Italy, Eemaxx Engineering — represented by CEO Mr. Giuseppe D'Alessandro — had the opportunity as well to meet with the H.E. the Ambassador, and discuss the development of partnerships in the wind, solar, biomass and biogas energy sectors for innovative solutions toward the achievement of a green economy within the country.
