On 24th November 2021, the UNIDO ITPO Italy Special Advisor in Energy and Environment for Cuba met in person with Ms. Mercedes Fernández Olivera (specialist in International Organizations and Bilateral Collaboration), Ms. Yusimith Montalvo (specialist in Energy, Science and Technology) and Ms. Elizabeth Acuay (energy expert), all from the Ministry of Food Industry (MINAL).

The meeting objective was to coordinate FIPEE-MINAL joint work actions. It was agreed to hold a face-to-face meeting in February 2022 among TECOFIL (Italian company), the importing company of MINAL and the 3 business groups of MINAL. A virtual meeting will also be organized between MINAL companies and Italian companies from the energy sector (also in February 2022).
