Within the framework of the project “Fostering international partnerships between companies and/or institutions in the energy and environment sectors” (#FIPEE) funded by the Italian Ministry of Ecological Transition, on 8th February 2022 UNIDO ITPO Italy organized and took part in a meeting with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI).

Networking, knowledge sharing, capacity building, export readiness and investment promotion are key for Kenyan SMEs, including the ones operating in the energy and environment sectors. This meeting — attended by UNIDO ITPO Italy’s Investment Promotion Expert Ms. Ester Temperato and Special Advisor in Energy and Environment for Kenya Ms. Faith Linda Okaalet, as well as by Mr. Masinde Mwangale Onesmus from the Trade Policy and Research Department at KNCCI — was held with the purpose of planning new initiatives in the field of renewable energies and sustainable agriculture of Kenya.
