On Thursday 7th April 2022 UNIDO ITPO Italy organized and took part in the meeting between Green Days Industries PLC from Ethiopia and the Italian company Curti, both operating in the field of waste management and waste-to-energy, with special regards to the sector of pyrolysis of used tires.

This initiative was organized in the framework of the project “Fostering international partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the energy and environment sectors” (#FIPEE) funded by the Italian Ministry of Ecological Transition and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.

The meeting - facilitated by UNIDO ITPO Italy FIPEE Coordinator Ms. Valentina Maltese, Investment Promotion Expert Ms. Ester Temperato, and Special Advisor in Energy and Environment for Ethiopia Mr. Fasil Abate Hagos - was aimed at introducing the pyrolysis plant in Ethiopia of Green Days Industries to the Italian counterpart and illustrating how it could be improved thanks to the transfer of innovative technology and know-how.
