At the 2023 edition of K.EY, held in Rimini from 22nd to 24th March, UNIDO ITPO Italy organized and assisted on site the participation of a business delegation in the energy sector from Kenya and Ethiopia.

Mostly focusing on and interested in the field of photovoltaic, solar panels and environmental technologies, the 6 companies - 5 Ethiopian and 1 Kenyan - had the opportunity to take part in more than 70 B2B meetings with Italian and international exhibitors at the fair, and reported to have identified innovative technologies and solutions to be replicated in their projects and home countries, paving the way for potential synergies and collaborations.

This initiative was implemented in the framework of the project “Fostering International Partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the Energy and Environment sectors” (FIPEE), funded by the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.
