On February 25^th within the Minister of Foreign Affairs premises, UNIDO ITPO Italy attended the presentation of the new Italian ambassador in Angola, Mr Giorgio Di Pietrogiacomo.

Several Institutions and companies were invited at the event, among others, some representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and of the Ministry of Transport, Assomineraria, CMC, Assafrica, Confcommercio, Finmeccanica and Bank of Italy. UNIDO ITPO Italy presented the projects implemented in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a special focus on a study tour in the fishery sector that took place in Ancona.

An interesting scenario emerged from the meeting, with several investment opportunities, in fact Angola is the third economy of Sub-Saharan Africa, after South Africa and Nigeria.

UNIDO ITPO Italy will follow all new initiatives carried out by Italian Embassy in Angola, in order to promote sustainable industrial growth in this country.
