Potenza, February 27th 2015 -  The joint declaration with the Basilicata Region, which is part of the project work of UNIDO for EXPO 2015, was signed today by the Director of UNIDO ITPO Italy, Mrs. Diana Battaggia and the President of the Basilicata Region, Mr. Marcello Pittella.

The initiative is aimed to promote industrial cooperation between developing countries companies and Lucan ones, through the transfer of sustainable technologies, technical assistance, human resource training, study tours, B2B meetings and seminars.

During the meeting, Mrs. Battaggia finalized with Mr. Pittella the organization of entrepreneurial incomings from emerging economies interested to visit the industrial excellences of Basilicata, through the UNIDO ITPO Italy platform ‘Supporting SMEs to your discover Expo 2015 and Italian Excellences’.
