Parma-Reggio Emilia, 21-22 June 2016 - Within the promotional activities for the Agro-industry Investment Forum (Addis Abeba – 5-7 of October, 2016), organized by UNIDO together with the Ethiopian government, ITPO Italy participated in the Business Day Ethiopia and to the launch of the Compete In project in Reggio Emilia. The Business day event, organized by Assafrica & Mediterraneo, has been enriched by the presence of the Ethiopian State Minister Alemu Sime, and by more than 30 Ethiopian companies. Several Italian participating companies, which operate in different sectors, showed interest for the forum in Addis Ababa.

On June, 22nd ITPO Italy also participated to the launch of the project Compete IN, implemented by the Reggio Emilia municipality in order to connect different European regions and to promote the companies internationalization processes. Moreover, during this event, the Forum was welcomed with interest, especially because of the peculiar expertise which characterizes the agro-industrial sector in the Reggio Emilia area.

ITPO Italy is available and willing to provide further information to the interested companies regarding the Forum and the Agro-Industrial Parks that are going to be implemented in the following months by the Ethiopian government.
