UNIDO ITPO Italy announces a roadshow across Italy from 27th through 31st March 2023, aimed at introducing the two upcoming UNIDO Business Forums in Jordan and Somalia:

• The “Business and Investment Regional Forum” in Amman, scheduled for 22nd and 23rd May 2023, will provide a platform for businesses and investors to explore investment opportunities and technology transfer in Jordan. It will also offer a unique opportunity for participants to network with government officials, international organizations, and other stakeholders.
  
  
• The 2nd edition of the “Italia-Somalia Business and Trade Forum”, within the framework of the “Somalia Economic Forum” taking place in Mogadishu on 30th and 31st May 2023. The Forum is aimed at giving new visibility and support to the Somali private sector, promoting Somalia as business destination for international companies, including Italian ones.

Featuring the special participation of Jordanian and Somali delegates, UNIDO ITPO Italy’s roadshow will be aimed at encouraging Italian companies to take part in the two UNIDO Forums to promote their products and services and discover opportunities for investment and technology transfer in Jordan and Somalia, paving the way for new synergies and international collaborations.

The roadshow's legs have been identified based on the distribution of selected Italian regions with high potential in terms of industrial presence and sectors of interest, and include Piedmont, Veneto, and Emilia-Romagna. Starting on Monday 27th March at UNIDO ITPO Italy’s premises in Rome, the roadshow will then continue with roundtables on:

• Tuesday 28th in Turin;
• Wednesday 29th in Reggio Emilia;
• Thursday 30th in Parma (only visit) and Bologna;
• Friday 31st in Padua.
