UNIDO ITPO Italy facilitated and supported on-site the participation of 3 winners of its “FIPEE Call For High Impact Cleantech” in the Annual Investment Meeting - AIM 2023, held from 8th to 10th May in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Representatives of the 3 winners — Phillip Sellwe, Managing Director of Bayon Holding, Botswana; Samuel Okioro, Co-Founder of Drop Access, Kenya; and Roger Mori Pizzino, CEO of Ciclo, Peru — had the opportunity to join the AIM special panel session "Achieving the SDGs through Innovation & Entrepreneurship", as well as to showcase their innovative awarded technologies at dedicated booths within the expo area of the congress, meeting exhibitors and visitors from all over the world and further developing opportunities for business and collaborations.

This initiative was part of the project "Fostering International Partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the Energy and Environment sectors" (#FIPEE), funded by the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.
